Hurricane Milton Monday 9 am WCB

We are actively planning and preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Milton. Manatee County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for certain low-lying areas, including both the Point Pleasant Neighborhood and Manor Neighborhood. We are currently preparing to evacuate today. Assisted Living residents will be relocating to Westminster Towers in Orlando, Westminster Lakeland and Morningside House of Sarasota. Nursing Care residents will be relocating to Westminster Winter Park, Westminster Baldwin Park and Westminster Towers in Orlando, Orlando Lutheran Towers and Oak Hammock in Gainesville. We will remain at our evacuation sites until advised that it is safe to return home. We will continue to follow the recommendations of the National Hurricane Center and Pinellas County emergency management office, and continue to update with any new developments.

Hurricane Milton Sunday 8 pm WCB

We are actively planning and preparing for Hurricane Milton. Manatee County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for low-lying areas in Zones A and B, including both the Point Pleasant and Manor Neighborhoods. Independent Living residents are urged to evacuate as soon as possible. We are actively working on finalizing evacuation plans for Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents and will provide further updates. We will remain at our evacuation sites until advised that it is safe to return home. We will continue to follow the recommendations of the National Hurricane Center and continue to update with any new developments.

We continue to monitor the forecast course of Hurricane Milton and follow the guidance of the National Hurricane Center, National Weather Service and county emergency management offices. Please know that our team members are hard at work taking the necessary precautions to ensure safety. We will provide updates as our plans develop and the storm’s track and impact becomes clearer.

Tropical Storm Milton Saturday 5 pm

We are monitoring the course of Tropical Storm Milton and following the guidance of the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service. At this time, it is unclear what the impact will be, or whether our communities will be impacted. Please know that we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure safety. We will provide updates as our plans develop and the storm’s track becomes clearer.

Our team members within each of our communities are working hard and following their emergency preparedness plans. As part of that plan, communities will be providing ongoing updates as appropriate.
